International Relations

International Relations (IR) is the study of the interactions between sovereign states, as well as between states and other international actors such as international organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and multinational corporations. It encompasses the analysis of political, economic, social, and cultural relations at the global level, focusing on how these relationships influence global governance, conflict, cooperation, and diplomacy. IR examines issues such as war, peace, trade, human rights, and environmental policy, and seeks to understand the underlying theories and practices that shape international interactions. The field draws on various disciplines, including political science, economics, history, and law, to provide insights into the complexities of global affairs.
